What we did

Matalan’s new headquarters at Knowsley Industrial Park was designed by Manchester-based Fletcher-Rae Architects, CSI were contracted to design, fabricate and install the external facade using the Aluprof MBSR50N curtain walling for its main façades, with the capless version (MBSR50N-Efekt capless) of the same system used for the reception atrium and fire rated screen. The glazing shade variations to the main curtain walling areas are achieved by a mixture of Solar control coatings, grey tinted and mid-grey ceramic spandrels.
The headquarters’ doors are constructed from Aluprofs’ ‘MB70’ system, with the entrance side pass doors fabricated using ‘MB86’. The frameless revolver was provided by Boon Edam
