What we did

Piercy Conner Architects converted the 19th century military building into a weekend retreat. The design features an ellipse shape which sits perfectly parallel to the masonry tower, separated by a glazed section to achieve the illusion of floatation.
To bring the concept from paper to reality within budget CSI, developed a prefabrication strategy for the complete double curved roof form and curved glazing. The realisation involved the early use of 3D CAD works combined with prototyping and factory based trial assemblies.
