What we did

CSI were contracted by Urban Splash to design, supply and install the penthouse 'cord' which was inherently complex. whilst the initial scheme was based on an onsite traditional build, CSI pursued offsite route using early solid modelling techniques. We worked closely with the engineers Price & Myers who were involved on this project for both the client (Urban Splash) and ourselves.
Through accurate 3D modelling, prototyping and design development we cost effectively developed and produced offsite the very complicated double curvature timber roof structures together with the complicated glazing infill.
