What we did

This project combines and illustrates the extensive benefits gained by the use of CSI digitalised and parametric workflow. Final CNC output data and automated material forming techniques allowed this complex project to be fully engineered and manufactured offsite by CSI as a turnkey shell and core project complete with internal stairs and floors. The house itself is made up of two gabled weathering Corten steel shells on either side of the site. A glazed link between them encloses a courtyard. The weathering steel is a structural and waterproof shell, like the hull of an upturned boat.The innovative structural use of Corten steel and glass in combination with rationalised offsite manufacturing methodology and general facade experience has delivered this multi award wining project.
